There are many ways that you can make a difference at Southwest 8 Senior Services:
- We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities for everyone. We welcome individual volunteers as well as group service. Share a special talent or knowledge base with seniors; become a senior advocate; get involved with our Advisory Council and make recommendations to our Board of Directors, or help seniors with snow removal or yard work.
- Make a donation to Southwest 8 Senior Services and be our partner in our effort to help the frail elderly maintain their independence and remain in their own homes for as long as possible.
- Participate in our events. We host an annual fundraising golf tournament, The Senior Swing, to promote public awareness of what can be done to help seniors obtain in-home and community based services, and to raise money to ensure that all seniors are able to access the services that they need. Additionally we sponsor many educational public forums, seminars, and conferences throughout our eight-county service area to highlight issues of importance to seniors and the families that care for them. Your participation and feedback is a vital contribution to the ongoing success of these events.
