Educational:
Christy attended UNK and received a BSW (Bachelor in Social Work). Christy then attended UNO and received a MSW (Master in Social Work). Christy has also completed gerontology classes in the Gerontology Program at UNO.
Professional :
Christy has had various work experiences from working in Florida right out of college as a Chemical Addictions Counselor, was a case worker for people with disabilities for LSI here in Council Bluffs, worked as a research assistant gathering data on homeless adolescents for UNL and performed case management for homeless adults with SPMI’s (Severe and Persistent Mental Illnesses)at Community Alliance in Omaha, NE.
Christy is presently working as a case manager at SW8SS and started on December 7, 2009.
Christy is from Western NE originally and grew up on a cattle ranch. Christy plays volleyball weekly and enjoys outdoors activities such as roller blading, boating, and likes decorating and gardening.
